In safety-critical applications such as automotive, medical, and aviation, the stability of mobile seats is crucial. Recently, a "multifunctional anti-locking slide" designed specifically for special vehicles passed rigorous testing at the National Crash Safety Laboratory. Under a simulated impact at 80 km/h, the seat slide system exhibited no displacement or locking failure.
This slide utilizes a dual locking mechanism: an electromagnetic lock secures the seat in place normally, automatically switching to a mechanical anti-lock upon power failure. Combined with a damping module, it absorbs energy during sudden impacts to protect occupants.
It has been used in applications such as ambulance stretchers, police vehicle mobile seats, and adjustable seats in RVs. A representative from the Ministry of Emergency Management stated, "This type of high-safety slide is a crucial safeguard for 'lifeways,' and its promotion and standardization in special equipment should be accelerated."
